This is the world's largest species of gecko, found wild living in trees originating from New Caledonia. This is a nocturnal species, and feeds on crickets. Babies can be purchased at approximately 16 weeks of age. These large breed species will grow to adult size of around 12 inches in length at 2 years old, and may live up to 20 years in captivity. It's a low maintenance, enjoyable facinating large species that "hugs" or clings to you when you hold them.
